Wild West Shootout Racers Set Sights on Coveted Hoker Trucking Victory Lane
VADO, N.M. (September 1, 2021) — This year over 200 drivers took their best shot at reaching Victory Lane during the 2021 Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. Only a handful were successful in their pursuit, but for both the victors and the ones who fell short of their goals, they’ll get another shot to achieve glory during the 2022 edition. The competitors, who accomplish their mission, will pull into the hallowed ground at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park, known as Hoker Trucking Victory Lane.

“I’ve said it countless times, but events like this are not possible without the continued support of sponsors like Jeff and Penny (Hoker) from Hoker Trucking, Wild West Shootout Event Director, Jason Babyak said. “You can’t go a week without seeing the name ‘Hoker Trucking’ tied to an event, track, or a race team, and we are blessed to be part of the community that is part of their sponsor dollar.
“Most of all, I am personally blessed that we have become friends, surpassing just the promoter/sponsor relationship, and I look forward to continuing on with both.
The trucking company managed by Jeff Hoker also sponsors multiple racers, including 2017 Wild West Shootout champion Bobby Pierce., and perennial Wild West Shootout contenders Chris Simpson, Ricky Thornton Jr., and Brian Shirley.
